The Town is proud to announce the launch of its new Strategic Plan Dashboard, another modernization initiative to enhance transparency and communication with residents. This innovative tool will update the public on the progress of Council’s 2022-2027 Strategic Plan.
“The Strategic Plan Dashboard is a fantastic step towards a more open and connected community. It empowers our residents with the knowledge to see exactly how the Town is progressing and ensures we remain accountable to our goals,” stated Lord Mayor Gary Zalepa. “Thank you to fellow Council Members for their commitment towards this Plan and to Staff for their work to ensure we stay on track.”
The dashboard is an interactive online platform offering insights into the Strategic Plan’s four pillars and allowing users to dive deeper into specific indicators of success. Users can track the status of various projects through easy-to-understand icons and gauges that illustrate completion percentages and provide brief status updates. This information will be updated biannually in June and December, aligning with the reporting requirements outlined in the Strategic Plan.
“This tool will not only highlight the significant strides we’ve made but also keep our residents informed and involved in the progress of our strategic initiatives,” said CAO Bruce Zvaniga. “I encourage residents to explore this tool and stay informed about the projects that are shaping the future of Niagara-on-the-Lake.”
