The Town has direct access to the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW), providing direct access to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and to the United States through four Niagara border crossings located in Queenston, Niagara Falls (2) and Fort Erie. Regional thoroughfares connect Niagara-on-the-Lake to major regional centres including St. Catharines and Niagara Falls.

The Niagara District Airport in Niagara-on-the-Lake is ideally positioned for both business and tourists. The Town is also close to 2 major international airports within an hour's drive to Toronto and Hamilton.

Public Transportation
Niagara-on-the-Lake welcomes NRT OnDemand transit, a new, dynamic Rideshare service, provided in partnership with the Niagara Region and VIA Mobility. NRT OnDemand does not operate on a fixed route like conventional transit services. Instead, it lets riders request trips in real-time through the app or over the phone by selecting a pickup point and destination.
