The last long weekend of summer is almost here, and as families prepare for the back-to-school season, the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday!

The Town Administration Building and Operations Building, Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Centre and Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library are closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, to observe the Labour Day Holiday.

We encourage residents to take advantage of the long weekend by enjoying the Town’s many parks and outdoor amenities, including:

  • Tennis courts, skatepark, and basketball courts
  • Playgrounds
  • Baseball diamonds and soccer fields at Memorial Park and Virgil Sports Park
  • The scenic Queen’s Royal Park Gazebo

For the long weekend, Town pools are operating on a modified schedule. Please visit the Town's website to see modified hours as well as the closure dates for these facilities.
