2022/2023 Arena Programming Schedule
The Centennial Arena & Meridian Credit Union Arena is located at 1565 Four Mile Creek Road, Virgil.
Arena
The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake offers public skating programming for residents and visitors throughout our arena and ice facilities.
- Public Skating: Runs from Saturday, October 1, 2022, to Sunday, April 2, 2023
- Adult Skate: Runs from Tuesday, September 6, 2022, to Sunday, April 2, 2023
- Please note that certain days/times are modified due to arena events and/or holidays
Skating (Public/Adult) - Program Fees
Rate
Family Pass $90.00 Adult: Day Pass $3.75 Adult: Season Pass $55.00 Youth/Senior: Day Pass $3.00 Youth/Senior: Season Pass $42.45 * New this season – Dedicated Beginner skate zone during all Public Skating Sessions. The area between the blue line and end board will only be set up for beginners.
Purchase of Passes
All passes are available for sale at the arena. Payments can be made via cash, debit or credit.
All Skating Season Passes are final sale. No refunds or future discounts due to any potential ice closures/disruptions

Skating Rules
- All children aged 12 and under must be supervised on and off the ice by an adult.
- Proof of payment (hand stamp) may be required to enter the ice surface.
- You must wear skates while on the ice surface and adhere to the directions of the arena Staff.
- Report all accidents or injuries to arena Staff immediately.
- Please skate at a sensible speed.
The following is not permitted:
- Carrying children on the ice.
- Food, drinks, headsets, cell phones or handheld electronic devices on the ice surface or players' benches.
- Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances and anyone under the influence.
- Horseplay, chain skating (no more than two people holding hands) and profanity / inappropriate behaviour.
- Throwing of ice or snow.
- Sitting on the boards.
Shinny Hockey
Rate
Daily $5.00 Yearly $158.75 - Every weekday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- The season runs from Tuesday, September 6 to Sunday, April 2.
- Adults 18 years and over
- Full equipment mandatory

Parents & Preschool/ Stick & Puck (Preschool & Adult)/Skate Sharpening Fees

Adults $3.50 Youth/Senior $3.00 Skate Sharpening $5.00 Parents & Preschool
Parents and Preschool provides the opportunity for parents and preschool children to skate. Skating aids are available for children that require them.
Stick & Puck
Stick and Puck (Preschool) provides the opportunity for pre-school aged children to work on their hockey skills. No equipment is required.
Stick and Puck (Adult) provides the opportunity for individuals to work on their hockey skills. No equipment is required.
