The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake is inviting the community to participate in the first
phase of public engagement for the Queen Street Secondary Plan project (Town File
No. OPA-04-2026).

The Town has retained The Biglieri Group Ltd. to lead the project, with oversight and
support from Town staff. The project will help guide the future of the Queen Street area
while recognizing its unique historic character. It will consider local businesses, tourism,
transportation, infrastructure, public spaces, the relationship between the commercial
area and surrounding residential neighbourhoods, and opportunities for compatible
growth.

Public Information Centre

The in-person Public Information Centre will provide an opportunity to learn more about
the project, review the work completed to date, and share feedback to help inform the
next steps. This will be the first of multiple opportunities to engage with the Town and
consulting team regarding this project. The Public Information Centre will also be an
opportunity for you to ask questions, and to identify opportunities or issues that should
be considered as the project moves forward.

Date: Tuesday, November 17, 2026
Time: 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Early Access Quiet Half-Hour: From 4:30 to 5:00 p.m., a quieter, lower-stimulus
environment will be available for individuals who would benefit from additional time to
review the PIC materials and participate with reduced noise, fewer attendees and a
calmer setting for asking questions and engaging with project staff. Community
members who do not require this accommodation are encouraged to arrive at 5:00 p.m.

Location: Simpson Room, Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Centre, 14 Anderson Lane,
Niagara-on-the-Lake

No registration is required. Attendees are welcome to drop in at any time during the
event.
