
The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake is pleased to announce the launch of its Summer 2026 Aquatics Programming. Resident registration opens on April 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., and non-resident registration opens on May 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Programs will be offered at both Niagara Pool (370 King Street) and St. Davids Pool (1446 York Road), with a variety of options designed for all ages and skill levels.
Swim Lessons & Instruction
Group swimming lessons will be available in both morning and evening formats, with multiple sessions running from late June through August. Programs follow the Lifesaving Society curriculum, including:
- Parent & Tot
- Preschool
- Swimmer levels
- Canadian Swim Patrol
Private and semi-private lessons are also available, offering flexible, more personalized instruction.
Advanced Training & Certifications
Participants looking to advance their skills can register for the following programs focused on water safety, rescue techniques, and emergency response:
- Bronze Star
- Bronze Medallion
- Bronze Cross
- National Lifeguard – Pool
Swim Team
The popular Electrifying Eels summer swim team returns for swimmers aged 5 to 17. Participants will train throughout the season and attend local swim meets, building confidence, teamwork, and fitness in a fun and supportive environment.
Drop-In Swimming & Fitness
Residents and visitors can enjoy flexible, drop-in options at both pools, including:
- Public Swim
- Family Swim
- Lane Swim
- Aqua Fitness
No pre-registration is required.
Memberships & Rentals
Seasonal memberships will be available, offering unlimited access to drop-in programs and priority entry.
Private pool rentals are available at both Niagara Pool and St. Davids Pool on Saturdays from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Pre-registration is required.
How to Register
Visit the Town’s ActiveNet system to create an account, select a program, and complete payment to secure your spot. Residents are encouraged to register early, as programs fill quickly.
