WHAT: Speed cushions are being installed on Shakespeare Avenue to further enhance pedestrian safety, improve traffic flow, and create a more pedestrian-friendly environment. Speed cushions are rubberized raised devices placed across the road to slow traffic. The design encourages vehicles to slow down without coming to a halt.
WHEN: The installation of the speed cushions will occur on June 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will require a road closure area on Shakespeare Avenue.
