WHAT: The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s approved 2024 Capital Budget includes a road crossing culvert replacement at the intersection of Dorchester Street and Gage Street.
To facilitate the construction of a new road crossing culvert, a temporary road access to Nassau Street is required for properties fronting on Gage Street west of Dorchester Street while the intersection of Gage Street and Dorchester Street is temporarily closed to traffic.
WHEN: The construction of the access road, which is being completed by Town Staff, will begin on Monday, June 17, 2024, and be in place for 14 weeks.
Further notices advising of the construction of the culvert and closure of the intersection will be provided to affected residents later this spring.

Emergency Services have been informed of this construction and have developed a plan to ensure emergency service to the properties remains uninterrupted during the closure.
