The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake is once again pleased to offer free parking in the Heritage District (Old Town) throughout the month of December. Please see the information below for details.
WHERE: Free parking will be available in the Heritage District (Old Town) of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
WHEN: Free parking will begin on Thursday, December 1, and end on Saturday, December 31, 2022.
COMMUNICATION: Additional efforts to ensure the public is aware of this free parking initiative include posts on the Town’s social media channels, updates on the Town website, and an ad in the local newspapers.
Signs will be added to the screen of the Pay & Display parking meters in the Heritage District to inform the public of free parking.
Individuals utilizing the Honk Mobile app will receive a message if they try to pay for parking, stating that parking is free for the month and that no payment is required.
