The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake wishes the community a wonderful Family Day long weekend!
The Town Administration Building and Operations Building, Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Centre and Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library are closed on Monday, February 17, 2025, to observe the Family Day holiday. The Meridian Credit Union and Centennial Arenas are open, with more information available at www.notl.com/recreation-events/programs-activities/public-skating-arena-programming.
Looking for something to do this weekend? Lord Mayor Zalepa is hosting a free Family Day weekend skating event this Saturday, February 15, at the Meridian Credit Union Arena (1565 Four Mile Creek Road, Virgil) from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. No RSVP is required, and all are welcome to attend. Those wishing to attend can also get their skates sharpened at the arena for $10.00.
Any emergency matters that occur over the long weekend related to roads, water, wastewater, or enforcement can be reported using the after-hours phone line at 905-682-2704. For any after-hours emergency relating to animal control, please call 905-682-0767 ext. 0.
