
Niagara-on-the-Lake is excited to welcome residents and visitors back to its parks, pools, and outdoor amenities for the 2025 summer season. These spaces offer opportunities for recreation, relaxation, and connection, contributing to the health and vibrancy of the community.
The following facilities are opening soon:
- Splash Pad (1565 Four Mile Creek Road, Virgil Sports Park): Opens May 12
- Niagara Pool (370 King Street): Opens for the weekend on June 21 and 22, then officially opens for the season on June 29
- St. Davids Pool (1446 York Road): Opens June 29
- Simcoe Park Wading Pool (25 Picton Street): Opens June 29
Many outdoor amenities are already open and ready to enjoy, including:
- Pickleball courts, skatepark, tennis courts, and basketball courts
- Public washrooms throughout the Town
- Playgrounds
- Baseball diamonds and soccer fields at Memorial Park and Virgil Sports Park
- Queen’s Royal Park Gazebo
Additionally, Play in the Park returns on June 30, offering a free, drop-in mobile program that brings sports and activities to local parks for all ages and abilities. Stay tuned for more information coming soon.
