This December, the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, along with the Town’s Christmas Parade Committee, is excited to bring back its traditional Christmas Parade in Old Town!

The Christmas Parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 10, beginning at 11:00 a.m. The parade will start at the intersection of King and Center Street in Old Town and travel throughout its traditional route down Castlereagh, Wellington, Byron/Prideaux, Simcoe and Queen Streets.

“We are thrilled to have Jolly Saint Nick return this year for our traditional parade,” stated Lord Mayor Betty Disero. “This community event spreads holiday joy to all those who attend and participate and is a great way to kick off the holiday season!”

Those wishing to attend the parade are reminded that parking is very limited on parade day. Streets will be closed, and parking will fill up quickly. Please plan ahead when preparing to enjoy the day with your family and friends.

“Thank you to Town Staff and the Christmas Parade Committee for working hard to bring the beloved parade back to Niagara-on-the-Lake,” stated CAO Marnie Cluckie. “This festive day provides an activity for all age groups to enjoy. We look forward to seeing you there!”

This year’s Honourary Parade Marshall is the Grape Growers of Ontario who are celebrating their 75th Anniversary and play a vital role in our community!
