Summer adventures are just around the corner in Niagara-on-the-Lake! Families can start planning for the 2026 season as registration for the Town’s popular Summer Day Camp opens on March 16, 2026.
Designed for children ages 6 to 12, the Town’s Summer Day Camp offers ten exciting weeks of themed fun at Virgil Sports Park and Centennial Arena (1565 Four Mile Creek Road, Virgil). From creative crafts and action-packed sports to splash pad adventures, park play, swimming, and engaging games, campers can look forward to making new friends and lasting summer memories.
Camp runs full-week only, Monday to Friday, from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended care options available for families who need a little extra flexibility.
Families may also purchase hot lunches on Mondays and Fridays through The Lunch Lady, which provides wholesome and cost-effective meals.
“Summer Day Camp is one of the highlights of the year for so many Niagara-on-the-Lake families,” said Lord Mayor Gary Zalepa. “It’s wonderful to see our parks and facilities filled with our youth connecting, staying active, and creating lifelong memories right here in our community.”
Each of the ten themed weeks brings something new, ensuring no two weeks are ever the same. With a balance of structured activities and outdoor fun, the program supports active lifestyles, creativity, and social development in a safe and welcoming environment:
