The Christmas Parade Committee is finalizing plans for the annual Christmas Parade in Old Town on Saturday, December 12, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am. The parade is a longstanding community tradition that brings residents and visitors together to celebrate the holiday season.
The parade will start at the intersection of King and Centre Street in Old Town and travel along Castlereagh, Wellington, Byron/Prideaux, Simcoe, and Queen Streets. A copy of the parade route will be available on the Town’s website closer to the event.
Community groups, businesses, organizations, and residents are encouraged to participate by entering a float in the parade. This is an opportunity to showcase creativity, spread holiday cheer, and contribute to one of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s most beloved seasonal events.
Those wishing to participate can complete the Parade Entry Form available on the Town’s website. Those wishing to participate in the Parade are invited to complete the Parade Entry Form by December 1, 2026.
Attendees are reminded that parking will be limited on Parade Day, and several road closures will be in effect throughout the event area. Queen Street and other sections of the route may have temporary parking restrictions in place to accommodate parade operations. Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel and parking.
The Committee is looking forward to welcoming residents and visitors to another memorable celebration of the holiday season.
