A permanent sculpture will soon be installed on the picturesque grounds of the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre, overlooking the Niagara River. This public art commission celebrates the rich agricultural heritage of Niagara-on-the-Lake, with a special focus on the grape and wine industry's transformative role in the region. Vinifera by James Cameron Smith was selected by a jury and will be installed this spring. The sculpture was commissioned by Paul Bosc to honour his parents, Paul and Andrée Bosc, recipients of the 2006 NOTL Citizens of the Year award.
