Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum, 43 Castlereagh Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0
You are invited to attend an Open House at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum. The Museum is growing on its property, and they're excited to share our plans with our neighbours.
PROJECT BACKGROUND
The Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum has embarked on an expansion project for the Museum, including the renovation of the Janet Carnochan House next door. This project will allow us to:
- Increase visitor engagement by creating a multipurpose room for programming and tourism partnership opportunities.
- Make the Museum a publicly accessible site with an elevator and universal restrooms,
- Amplify community voices and stories with interactive exhibitions that explore our diverse and significant history
- Reuse our heritage buildings with upgrades to ensure energy efficiency.
PURPOSE OF THE OPEN HOUSE
This Open House will present the Museum’s Plans for the expansion. The Museum’s consultants will be in attendance for one-on-one dialogue. Your questions and feedback are welcome, and we look forward to welcoming you to the Museum and its future.
