The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake's street sweeper will return to service beginning Monday, November 2, 2026, for approximately one month of seasonal roadway maintenance.
WHAT: Town crews will be conducting street sweeping operations throughout Niagara-on-the-Lake to remove debris from roadways and help maintain drainage infrastructure.
WHEN: Beginning Monday, November 2, 2026, for approximately one month. Crews may begin working early in the morning to maximize efficiency and minimize impacts from parked vehicles.
RESIDENT INFORMATION:
Please avoid parking on municipal streets when the street sweeper is operating in your area. The first week of operations will focus on Old Town (including Queen, Picton, & King); the second will focus on Niagara-on-the-Green; the third will focus on Queenston and St. Davids; and the fourth will focus on Virgil.
Do not sweep leaves, grass clippings, or other yard waste onto streets.
Help keep catch basins clear to ensure proper drainage, particularly as fall leaf accumulation continues.
