WHAT: Temporary road closure on a portion of Concession 7 Road between York Road and north of Queenston Road to facilitate servicing and road construction works associated with the approved Modero Subdivision development. The work is being completed by the developer's contractor, Trenchline & Roads. There will be a full closure in place with no through access, apart from emergency vehicles. During the closure, a traffic management and detour plan will be in place to direct motorists safely around the construction area. Residents are encouraged to follow posted signage and allow for additional travel time.
WHEN: The road closure is anticipated to begin on October 19, 2026, weather permitting, and is expected to remain in place for approximately five weeks. Construction schedules may be adjusted due to weather conditions, site requirements, or unforeseen circumstances. Any significant changes to the anticipated timeline, traffic management measures, or road access arrangements will be communicated as work progresses.
COMMUNICATION: The contractor will provide regular updates to Town staff throughout the project. Information regarding the closure and any schedule changes will be shared through the Town's website and social media channels as available. The Town will continue to monitor the project to ensure compliance with approved plans and will keep residents informed of any significant developments.
