Happy Canada Day, Niagara-on-the-Lake! The Town Administration Building and Operations Building, Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Centre and Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library are closed on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, to observe the Canada Day holiday. 

Looking for something fun to do with family and friends this Canada Day?

While you're out and about, don't forget to take advantage of the many parks and outdoor amenities the Town offers, including:

  • Tennis courts, skatepark, and basketball courts
  • Playgrounds
  • Virgil Sports Park splash pad and Simcoe Park wading pool
  • Niagara Pool and St. Davids Pool are open regular scheduled hours 
  • Baseball diamonds and soccer fields at Memorial Park and Virgil Sports Park
  • The scenic Queen’s Royal Park Gazebo
