About the Project

Regent Street Culvert Replacement including sidewalk and guiderail replacement.

Summary:

Overall Road Cross Section: The road platform will be widened, and guiderails will be replaced and upgraded to a current standard to improve roadside safety.
Infrastructure Improvements - Water: The existing water main that crosses over the culvert will be reinstated below the new culvert.
Infrastructure Improvements - Storm: The new culvert will be larger and allow improved drainage, and reduce flooding impacts. 
Active Transportation Improvements - Pedestrians: The sidewalk on west side of the street will be relocated from its current location to the same grade as the road. 

The anticipated construction schedule is Summer 2026.

The public will be notified of any impacts to vehicular and pedestrian traffic as the project advances. Properties within project limits will be notified prior to the commencement of construction.
