The Town is partnering with the Niagara River Lions to refresh outdoor basketball courts across the Region by replacing worn or damaged nets and enhancing the space ahead of the spring and summer season.
As part of this activation, the Niagara River Lions will:
- Install new chain nets at the Virgil Sports Park basketball court as part of a broader court refresh initiative
- Provide basketballs for youth to participate in a casual shoot-around with Coach Mackenzie
- Host a community table with information and promotional items
This partnership provides a valuable opportunity to enhance the space, bring the community together, and highlight the importance of investing in and activating our outdoor recreational amenities.
