Join RiverBrink and local artist David Antscherl for a fun learning experience of plein-air painting in the medium of your choice. Landscape outdoors can be intimidating, but David will help break this down into manageable bits for you, whether you work in oil, acrylic, watercolour, or other medium. Topics covered include how to translate observation onto the canvas, simplification of subject in a plein-air setting, chiaroscuro, and the use of warm or cool hues. Participants will receive a short list of things to bring to the workshop in advance.
