The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, in collaboration with the Niagara Physicians’ Healthcare Alliance, Niagara Region, and the other 11 local municipalities, are coming together to encourage residents to Connect to Care and Find a Doctor on the updated Find a Doctor webpage that helps residents locate and register with over two dozen available family doctors in Niagara.
The webpage features:
- A list of doctors and clinics in Niagara by municipality
- Contact details and locations for each clinic
Supporting this initiative reflects the Town’s ongoing commitment to fostering healthy, connected communities. It aligns with Council’s Strategic Plan under the Pillar of Good Governance by promoting awareness around healthcare access and contributing to physician recruitment and retention efforts at both the municipal and regional levels. Niagara-on-the-Lake is proud to collaborate with Niagara Region and local partners to help ensure residents can access the care they need, when and where they need it.
Niagara Region leads physician recruitment and retention efforts in collaboration with local partners. This campaign was developed by Niagara Economic Development, with support from key stakeholders such as the Niagara Practitioners’ Healthcare Alliance (NPHA), which continues to advance access to primary care across the region.
