The Queenston Volunteer Firefighters Association (QVFA) is made up of a membership pulled from the active ranks of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Fire and Emergency Services District Four. Members who have been active firefighters for ten years are elevated to lifetime status. The purpose of the Association is to serve as a social organization for firefighters for the benefit of the local community. Annually, the QVFA donates close to $5,000 to minor sports, local charities, and benevolent causes. This is made possible through the generosity of the community, which believes in our aims.
2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the Queenston Volunteer Firefighters Association.
