WHAT: Temporary road closures are required to accommodate the Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce’s Candlelight Stroll event on December 1, 2023.
WHERE: Temporary road closures will occur on:
- Queen Street from King Street to Gate Street
- Victoria Street from Prideaux Street to Johnson Street
- Johnson Street from Victoria Street to Gate Street
- Gate Street from Prideaux Street to Johnson Street
- Regent Street from Prideaux Street to Queen Street
- Prideaux Street from King Street to Gate Street
- King Street from Prideaux to Queen Street.
WHEN: Queen Street will be closed from King Street to Regent Street at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023, to accommodate the Candlelight Stroll. The entirety of the route (detailed in the above map) will be closed from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
COMMUNICATION: This closure will be communicated through the Town’s website and social media channels.

Emergency Services have been informed of this event and have developed a plan to ensure emergency service to the area of the closure remains unaffected.
