Council’s Strategic Plan is a roadmap for success, designed to guide decision-making and investments for this term of Council, ensuring decisions made today set the course for the community’s desired future.
Strategic planning is an organization's process of defining its vision, mission, and priorities and developing specific plans to implement the strategy and evaluate the results. Approved by Town Council on July 25, 2023, the 2022 - 2027 Strategic Plan and supporting Implementation Plan and Indicators of Success document serve as a guiding framework for the Town's strategic initiatives and operational decisions, providing a roadmap for achieving its goals and enhancing community well-being.
Monitoring Progress
The Town is committed to tracking and sharing progress on the Strategic Plan through an interactive Dashboard, which:
- Provides visual insights into specific objectives, departments, and initiatives.
- Enables residents, Staff, and Council to monitor status updates across strategic priorities.
- The Dashboard is updated twice per year, and reflects the Town’s dedication to being proactive, accountable, and community-focused.
