Application Description:
The proposal is to facilitate the redevelopment of the Royal George Theatre on the subject lands, known municipally as 178 and 188 Victoria Street and 79-83 Queen Street. The Official Plan Amendment proposes to redesignate 178 Victoria Street to site-specific “General Commercial” to permit the theatre use. The Zoning By-law Amendment proposes to rezone the subject lands to “Queen Picton Commercial (QPC) Site-Specific Zone” with provisions for lot frontage, lot depth, lot coverage, rear yard setback, maximum building height and storeys, loading bay requirement, and on-site parking.
