Resident Parking Permits

Resident Parking Permits are available exclusively to Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake residents. 2025 Permits are now available!

  • Cost: $30 per calendar year. Permits are valid from January 1 to December 31 of each year, and residents must purchase a new permit each year.
  • Allow up to three hours of free parking at any paid parking area throughout Town. If you plan to park longer than the three-hour limit, you are required to put money in the parking meter or through the Honk Mobile or ParkedIn apps. Your free hours will be added to the amount paid.
  • Valid for the vehicle identified by the license plate number on the face of the permit only and are non-transferable. All other parking prohibitions must be observed.

To renew or obtain a new Resident Parking Permit, please visit the Town Administration Building at 1593 Four Mile Creek Road in Virgil with a valid piece of identification (e.g., driver’s license, health card, passport, etc.) showing Niagara-on-the-Lake residency or submit the Resident Parking Permit Form.
